Day 24 - Cartegena, Spain
Cartegena was one of the few stops that we made because we needed a stop between point A and point B - at least that's my take. It is one of the last ports along the southern Spanish Coast but it was only marginally interesting. It's one of those Mediterranean havens that northern Europeans escape to - but I found it fairly nondescript.
The three pictures to the left are out at the point looking into the Mediterranean. Nearby is an area called the Strand but I don't seem to have any photos of it. It's the area where northerners come to winter. The other two pictures are of a resort where we went for a wine tasting. The wines were poor and the presentation worse. Sorry.
